New Journey

Hello everyone! I have missed checking in here and am so glad to be back.

I’m writing on flight to Newark.

Destination : Costa Rica Jan 14 – Feb 18

I had hoped to fill everyone in on what we have been up to since our 2011 family Eurotrip. Alas, we kept other priorities. Briefly: quality time with family and friends, trips to the family farm, buying our first place (a condo in Gatineau), settling in, hikes with our dog Timo, learning and teaching, a trip through Quebec and to Nova Scotia.. Highlight photos to follow this trip.

Eamon is now 6 and Zion will be 13 in a few days.

Our goal for this trip is to pause our life and re-unite as a family. We are welcoming the awakening of our senses that comes with travel. We want to make connections with people living la Pura Vida. Then add in rainforests, beaches, volcanoes, horses, monkeys, ziplining, treehouses, and more – we are thrilled and just a little nervous 😉
