France and it’s changing seasons

The seasons changed as we entered Paris.  We feel the cold of fall here – complete with rain, crispy leaves, and a smell reminiscent of home.

These photos were taken in 2 sequences.

About a month ago,we took our time wondering Villeneuve-Loubet, Aix-en-Provence, and Avignon while driving the Cote d’azur between Italy & Spain.

The later, are taken as we spent a lovely week driving North towards Paris.  We have tasted the medieval town of Orthez and the county of Bearn (with it’s charming villages, castles, glorious parks, and salt Thermes), the farming towns of Aquitaine (complete with the bakery dynamics in Lasseube), the surfing coast and magical artist’s universe in Labenne, Bordeaux (parking, le mirroir d’eau, a peaceful sleep in the city garden), then we followed the Loire to see Amboise and surrounding villages (with a visit of wonder to the Leonardo Di Vinci residence & garden)…
all the way to Paris.

On our way home to Canada.
